Rachel L. Packer DDS
Philosophy of Care: I believe all my pediatric dental patients deserve to receive high quality dental care in a warm and caring environment. Too often I hear stories from parents about how they had a bad experience at the dentist when they were little and now they struggle with dental care. I became a pediatric dentist to break this cycle and to show the next generations that dentistry is a necessary part of our overall health and can even be fun!
Why I Choose to Work at Clinica: Being a part of the Clinica Family Health community is very rewarding to me. I appreciate the parents’ trust in me to be a part of their children’s care, and I value the relationships with the other providers.
Residency: University of Minnesota, 2007
Outside Clinica: During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. As a mother of two boys, I am being schooled in the world of Minecraft and Fortnite. I love to cook, but am not a good high altitude baker. My favorite foods would have to be Asian or Italian dishes. I am an avid movie goer and love all things Dr. Seuss and Disney.
Volunteer Experience: Mission Trips providing dental care to orphans with HIV in Romania and Uganda, Give Kids a Smile, and volunteering with Faith Formation at our Catholic parish.
Professional Affiliations: ADA, CDA, MDDS, AAPD, CAPD, SWPD
Awards: International College of Dentists Award, University of CO, 2002
Chief Resident, Pediatric Dentistry, University of MN, 2006-2007.
