Clinica’s Community Center has a staff of about 25 that handles about 1,500 calls every day. In addition to making appointments, they answer hundreds of questions, enroll new patients and serve as Clinica’s front door for all callers. Call Center Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00am – 4:15pm Wednesday: 9:00am - 4:15pm Saturday and Sunday: Closed GROWING TOGETHER Boulder County's population has grown tremendously since 1977 when Clinica Family Health first opened its doors in Lafayette. Our community's become very rich—and very poor. Poverty and wealth are not spread evenly across the residents of our community. And the gap between top-earners and families with children living in poverty is steadily increasing. In 2000, 7% of the county’s families with children were living in poverty. That grew to 11% by 2013. The poverty rate for Latino children grew from a dismal 23% in 2000 to 39% in 2013—higher than the U.S. poverty rate for Latino children. Unfortunately, costs for housing, food, transportation and healthcare are growing faster than incomes for lower income households, putting a big strain on family budgets.
The Gilpin County Clinic is our newest facility, opening in June of 2022. A four-person team operates both the Gilpin County and Nederland clinics.
