Amy L. Rinner, MD
Philosophy of Care: I believe in taking a whole person approach to medicine, integrating physical, social and mental health needs of each patient into his/her/their care. Using evidence based medicine, meaning the conscientious use of clinical evidence behind a test or treatment as well as an patient’s goals, to decide on what our treatment plan will be is very important to me. Everyone, regardless of gender, race, income or sexuality deserves high quality healthcare and a listening ear.
Why I Choose to Work at Clinica: As a family physician, we have the unique opportunity to care for entire families throughout their lives both in the outpatient and inpatient setting. At Clinica, I am able to work in both of these care environments and fulfill my mission of providing healthcare for whomever needs it. My coworkers at Clinica are like family; I can’t imagine a better work community.
Internship: St. Joseph Hospital, 2010

Outside Clinica: I love spending time with my husband, daughter and extended family and friends, sharing a meal I’ve cooked or exploring new spots in Denver. I’m a huge college (Go Irish!) and professional football fan. I enjoy being active, whether that is on a family bike ride, walking around our neighborhood, chasing our daughter around the house, skiing, yoga or going to the gym.
